Department of Applied Nutrition


About Us

In the Applied Nutrition specialization, students will take a holistic look at nutrition. They will explore the nutrients in food and learn about the behaviors and social factors behind the dietary choices we make. They will learn and create healthy meals, study how food can help prevent chronic diseases and have the chance to assist people across their lifespan who want to improve their overall health.


Postgraduate Programmes in Nutrition



These focal areas of the program will include disciplines coming from food science, biochemistry, physiology, epidemiology, dietetics (clinical nutrition), sociology, health behavior, and policy to provide you with an all-inclusive knowledge and skill package with an expert understanding of the relationship between nutrition and health. The dietetic program is coupled with hospital-based training and exposure to industry /community/ food and beverage service establishments
